Hello my name is Gina Strawbridge and I am very happy to be the new manager of Taurima. I started working with older adults with my grandparents about fifteen years ago as they were cared for at home and it was my love of them that than encouraged me to work in my first rest home. I am a registered nurse who has also completed post-grad papers at Auckland University on Advanced Clinical Assessment and Working with People with Long Term Conditions. As well as various other courses including Dementia papers through the University of Tasmania in Australia. My passion is to see older adults looked after the way they deserve to be with dignity, respect and the best possible care. I look forward to working with the residents at Taurima and getting to know you all their families and friends.
